To become a licensed Realtor, you are required by the State of Minnesota to:
- Attend 90 hours of pre-licensing education (72 hours of pre-licensing education for the State of Wisconsin).
- Pass the state and national sponsored licensing exams.
- Apply for a real estate license.
In addition, you are required to take 15 hours of continuing education every year to retain your real estate license.
State required licensing education can be taken at a number of different schools during day, evening, or weekend hours, including local training at Coldwell Banker University. Convenient online training also is available, including through Coldwell Banker University.
